About the game

Mist of Shan Hai is a hand-painted puzzle adventure drawn from the ancient Chinese bestiary Shan Hai Jing. As the young cartographer He, travel with Ninetails — a shapeshifting beast companion — through twelve mountain realms sealed in mist.

Every mountain is a handcrafted puzzle box: terrain and mechanisms interlock, and your companion’s forms are your tools. There are no text hints — every clue lives in the art and the sound.
